Scooter parts

Replacement scooter parts will eventually be needed for even the most well made scooters. As with any other vehicle, parts eventually become worn and need to be either fixed or replaced. Fortunately, most of these parts are fairly inexpensive and are easy to install.

Some scooter parts will need to be replaced more often than others. Spark plugs, for instance, should be replaced at least once a year in order to keep your engine working at maximum efficiency. Tires and brake pads should also be replaced regularly as a safety precaution.

Other scooter parts will last longer but require periodic maintenance. Carburetors often need to be “rebuilt” from time to time, and there are kits available for most designs that can be purchased for very little money. Air filters should also be periodically inspected and cleaned when necessary.
