Battery scooter

Much like a motorcycle battery, scooter batteries are designed to be small. They are often hidden within the engine compartment and can only be accessed by removing a body panel. In most cases these batteries will last for many years, but they do require replacements from time to time.

When it comes to the battery, scooter manufacturers today typically use a 12V variety. If you’re in need of one, they can be easily purchased through most motorcycle shops. They are relatively inexpensive when compared to car batteries.

When buying a battery, scooter experts highly recommend doing your homework. While most scoots today use a 12V version, not every scooter is the same. This is especially true of older models.
